(12 Apr 2017) VICTORIA'S SECRET ANGELS LAUNCH COACHELLA-INSPIRED COLLECTION The Victoria's Secret Angels are headed to Coachella with their Sexy Little Things collection. The music festival-inspire

d line of lingerie is meant to seen. "What's special about this collection is that it's all about wearing your lingerie as outerwear. So you can pair it with denim shorts and jackets, kimonos, really

anything to spice up your festival look," said Victoria's Secret model Jasmine Tookes. "I like this trend because you can go so many ways. And the great thing about this collection is that it looks

like a bralette, but it gives the support of a bra. And yeah, we have a lot of different styles. We have this one that's one of my favorites. We have the high constructed bras for the girls with a lit

tle more bust. And yeah, I love the colors," added fellow Angel Romee Strijd. The models and real-life friends introduced the collection to media Wednesday (12 APRIL 2017) in Los Angeles. "We star

ted at Victoria's Secret kind of at the same time and she helped me a lot and we work out a lot together and we do a lot of fun stuff. So it's really great to have this experience together and that ma

kes it really close, yeah," explained Strijd of their friendship. "I think Victoria's Secret does such a good job at like picking a solid group of girls that all like have the same interests. Like w

e all really love each other so much. We have our own group texts, we get together, we go out to dinners. It's really cool. It's like a little sisterhood," Tookes said. The sisterhood may have recen

tly added a new member. Fellow Angel Irina Shayk and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper reportedly welcomed a baby girl in March. "I mean congratulations! That's awesome! She's going to be a great mommy!

" said Tookes. "Congratulations! Can't wait to see the baby," added Strijd. Up next the models head to Indio, California, to host the company's Coachella fashion and beauty suite, called the Angel

Oasis. You can license this story through AP Archive: Find out more about AP Archive:

Let me distract you for a moment and tell you one short story.

The Elephant Rope

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.

He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them.

As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.
